Futura - Launch Event of the New Pathway.* (December 2023, Lecce) Workshop with teachers, administrators, students of all levels for the co-design of a vision of the Future School to be presented to the Minister and executives of the Italian Ministry of Education and Merit.
Play For Change - Game Design Workshop: between games, strategies, and digital skills (March - May 2023, IPM Airola). A program for the youth in the juvenile prison of Airola, aimed at developing digital and cross-disciplinary skills through gaming (board games, serious games, video games, card games).
Show Me the Moon - An Interactive Story (July 2022 to March 2023) Co-designed during the Come Vorrei Essere Summer School at the Juvenile Penal Institute of Airola (BN). The game is a transformative narrative of the character and the player, evolving together at a certain point. The transformation occurs along axes related to expressiveness, assertion, sharing, reflection, redefinition, acceptance, and empowerment, themes addressed more or less explicitly by the character.
MabArt* - Artistic Residencies of the Italian School (October, November 2022, and January 2023, Milan, Venice, Treviso). An immersive program dedicated to students of first and second cycle secondary schools (200 students), with the goal of creating an artistic residence to guide young people not only in understanding artistic expressions, their value, and the many meanings they convey but also to be active protagonists of the creative process. Developed in collaboration with the "Costaggini" Institute of Rieti.
Utopie Situate Jam (November 25-27, 2022, Naples). A design marathon to create a circular system that transforms plastic waste into pieces that make the city of Naples more accessible.
One Day in My Shoes* (October, November, and December 2022, Lucca). A program dedicated to secondary school teachers to rethink school spaces with an emphasis on accessible, empathetic, and inclusive design. Teachers act as "hackers" of the school space to facilitate livability, usability, and interactions. The program also included experimentation at school with students.* Developed in collaboration with IIS Carrara Nottolini Busdraghi.
Prime Minister (2020, Naples / December 2022, Matera). A political school for young women, with workshops on social innovation and community management. Developed with Prime Minister Basilicata.
ReImagine Lab* (November 2022, Torre del Greco). An immersive journey into science and its rules, an immersive laboratory to understand the scientific method as a fundamental tool to interpret the challenges and changes of our time. Developed in collaboration with the Technical Institute E. Pantaleo.
Escape Room "Il Loop" (July 2022, Airola). The 'Loop' Escape Room was designed to make young people in the juvenile prison reflect on their identities, conditions, vulnerabilities, and desires.
Cultural & Creative Debate* (May 2022, Matera). An experiential workshop that guides students in discovering art as a tool for debate, social criticism, and activism. Developed with IIS Duni-Levi within the framework of National Networks.
Escape Room Missing Fernandina (May 2022, Salerno). Escape Room designed for the traveling cultural project Pessoa Luna Park.
Escape with Steam* (May 2022, Lucca - hybrid mode). A training program to help teachers design an unconventional learning and assessment experience through the design of a Steam discipline escape room. Developed with IIS Carrara Nottolini Busdraghi.
Culture Hack* (February 22 - March 3, 2022, Matera). A workshop for students promoting the cultural heritage of the territory through the production of a Virtual and Augmented Reality Escape Room of a cultural asset. Developed with IIS Duni-Levi within the framework of National Networks.
Teachers' Tale* (March 22-24, 2022, Matera). A workshop for teachers on the sensory mapping of the city and the development of narrative visual podcasts. Developed with IIS Duni-Levi Matera within the framework of National Networks.
Dati Storti (2021 - 2022, hybrid mode, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Puglia, Sardinia, Sicily). A participatory change program involving actors from the regions to address urgent challenges. Six regions were involved in three stages, including hackathons and policythons with students from local schools. Developed with Scostumat*.
Future Action Debate* (Various editions 2021-2022, in-person in Rende and online). An interactive debate simulating the parliament of a country in 2050 discussing actions, measures, and regulations regarding technological and social evolutions and their consequences on the future. Developed with Technical Institute E. Pantaleo as part of SMART TEENAger and with Liceo ‘Pitagora’ di Rende.
Biomimetic Cities* (April 4 - May 27, 2022, Lucca). A workshop on redesigning cities with a biocentric approach using principles of biomimicry, biodesign, and ecological concepts.
Cosa faremo da grandi* (November, December 2021, and January 2022, Matera). A workshop to explore the future with open eyes, a discovery and orientation program. Developed with IIS Duni-Levi Matera within the framework of PNSD.
Education of Everything* (November 11-24, 2021, Torre del Greco). As part of the National Networks project to build a community of practice among schools and teachers nationwide, a workshop on managing internal and external school spaces through Internet of Things technologies with Arduino boards.* Developed with Technical Institute E. Pantaleo within the framework of National Networks.
Matera Wise City* (November 3-10, 2021, Matera). Civic Mapathon for students, a workshop for the collective mapping of Green Points, places, services, shops, public or private, that make the city of Matera more sustainable. Participatory and accompanied mapping of relevant stakeholders for this theme. Developed with IIS Duni-Levi Matera within the framework of PNSD.
Future Sustainable Debate (October 2021, Diamante). The Sustainable Future Debate workshop guides students through studying, analyzing, and understanding future scenarios, aiming to address and manage an interactive debate with a focus on finding more sustainable and balanced territorial and social development models. Developed with Technical Industrial Institute Guido Donegani within the framework of National Networks.
Soft Skill Sandbox* (October 2021, Torre del Greco). A program for teachers, a workshop designed to share and test methods, tools, and best practices to stimulate transversal skills among students in the school context. Developed with Technical Institute E. Pantaleo within the framework of National Networks.
Utopie Situate Design Jam (July 8-10, Naples). The design jam aims at the collaborative design of replicable open-source models to be prototyped in four chosen cultural spaces: Pessoa Luna Park, Farm Cultural Park, Agoragri, and Casa Belmondo de La rivoluzione delle Seppie.
Lezioni di Volo (June 2021, Matera): A training program in Social Design dedicated to the Volontarə Open Culture 2019 Association, integrated into the "Lezioni di Volo" (Flight Lessons) program promoted and organized by the Matera Basilicata 2019 Foundation. The program consists of two sessions (two weekends) focused on strengthening relationships among participants, enhancing their awareness, and developing their project skills. Implemented in collaboration with the Matera Capital of Culture Foundation.
Virtual Escape Room* (May 2021 - May 2022, online and in Campobasso): A workshop designed to guide high school teachers in the design of a multidisciplinary Virtual Escape Room, with the aim of applying this innovative methodology in their classes. Realized with the Technical Institute E. Pantaleo as part of National Networks (first edition) and with the Pertini Institute of Campobasso (second edition).
Dante in a Chatbot* (March 22-24, 2022, online): Eight student teams have given voice to Dante and characters from the Divine Comedy through the development of a chatbot. An initiative of the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) - "Futura Dante Live."
Remake your City* (March 16-31, 2021, online): A workshop for teachers and students from different Italian territories on urban regeneration with an ecological focus. In various phases, students analyzed and explored a space in their territory for regeneration, involving relevant stakeholders and designing in Virtual Reality. Implemented with the Technical Institute E. Pantaleo within National Networks.
Creative Gym* (March 2021, online): A workshop for students aimed at experimenting with the use of photographic language and images as tools for daily expression, telling stories of territories, people, and social themes. Implemented with the Technical Institute E. Pantaleo as part of SMART TEENAger.
Youth Lab - 7 Stories to Mobilize Action* (January - February 2021 - June 2021, online): A laboratory for young activists on creating communication campaigns on sustainable and ethical food themes. Realized with WeWorld (first edition) and Oxfam (second edition).
OndaZ* (January 22-24, 2020, first edition, and 2021, second edition): A hackathon on Climate Change in collaboration with Fiera di Bolzano (Klimahaus), the Province of Bolzano, and the University of Bolzano.
Industrial Hack (February 23-24, 2019, and March 9-10, 2019): A laboratory on the goals of the 2030 Agenda and the concept of industrial architecture and urban regeneration in an ecological key. Realized with CAOS, Terni.
Teach for Hack* (April, September 2019 - January 2020): A hackathon for acquiring skills in designing educational initiatives with innovative methodologies for acquiring future skills.
Teachers Training Camp* (eCBL) (More than 10 editions between 2019 and 2020, online): A training program for first and second-grade teachers on innovative teaching methodologies, specifically acquiring skills in Challenge Based Learning for integrated teaching.
Gov 2020 (October 2017, Treviso): An event dedicated to innovation in Public Administration with international guests, including Francesca Bria, then Innovation Commissioner of the City of Barcelona, Giulio Quaggiotto, Innovation Advisor Prime Minister’s Office UAE, Annibale D’Elia, Director of the Project Directorate for Urban Economy, Fashion, and Design of the City of Milan, Alessandro Fusacchia (former Chief of Staff). Spazi per il futuro - Biblioteche innovative* (December 4-6, 2019, Rome): A workshop for teachers on the co-design of innovative school libraries. Implemented with the "Pitagora" State High School in Rende.
Progetto Futura (Futura Project)*: A nationwide tour organized and managed directly by the Ministry of Education and Research, bringing educational innovations across Italy. As part of this initiative, the Civic Hack format was designed—a three-day civic hackathon aimed at reactivating communities of young people aged 16 to 18 on civic and environmental challenges.
